Rust is a fungal disease that is particularly invasive because it reproduces very quickly.
It reaches its peak development in June and is more common in alpine areas, where the climate remains cool but humid. When temperatures rise above 28°C, the fungus stops germinating and therefore the disease no longer spreads.
The plants most often affected are roses, geraniums, peach trees, fir trees, and clematis.
