Characteristics

Product specially designed according to the characteristics required by Cymbidium orchids and all terrestrial orchid species with firm roots in the soil (Paphiopedilum, Cypripendium, Bletilla).It is obtained from a careful blend of maritime pine bark (grain size 5-15 mm) which guarantees good ventilation and good drainage, mixed with a percentage of peat to ensure proper anchoring and root growth.

How to use

Use the product when repotting, that should be done for best results at the the vegetative re-growth.Ensure good drainage to the plant by placing a layer of expanded clay on the bottom of the pot, than add this specific substrate for orchids leaving the collar of the plant is 1-2 cm below the pot's edge Then compress the substrate making sure that it adheres to the roots.
