The device works with ultrasonic waves, a high sound pressure that annoys the mice and makes them get away. Such high-intensity sound waves are are not perceived by humans and most pets, they vary over time to keep mice away and avoid their addiction to sound; the frequency is 20-42kHz.Ultrasound is not recommended for people with peace-makers. They can be perceived by pets. Cats and small dogs adapt easily, while large dogs may be disturbed.

The device is equipped with a on / off test switch button that allows to hear the sound that gives the feeling of what the mice hear.It is also equipped with an on / off switch for the night light (if it is not needed can be turned off). To start the device, just plug it into an outlet in the place where mice should be hold back.
