Characteristics

the product results from the crushing of solidified lava of volcanic eruptions and is composed of reddish particles with 10-14 mm diameter. The porousness of the material guarantees on the one hand a proper capacity to hold water and nutrients and on the other hand the presence at any time of gaseous oxygen which is indispensable for the development and the growth of the root apparatus.

How to use

- drainage: at the bottom of the pots- covering: on top of the substratum, just next to the plant collar- aeration: mixed with the substratum- hydroponics.
