it’s a trap for geranium bronze (Cacyreus marshalli), whose larvae penetrate into the stalks of geraniums and devour them from inside, come out from the nodes and feed on leaves, flowers and buds, leading the plant to death. This trap exploits the power of attraction of green colour to geranium bronze which move towards the trap and, once they settle on it, get caught in the glue and cannot free themselves anymore. The trap contains no insecticides, allowing an effective and 100% natural pest control.. Ideal for geraniums in pot and flower box.
double use, hanging: remove the siliconed paper which protects the layer of glue on both sides, insert the wire into the hole and hang the trap. Inserted in the soil: remove the siliconed paper and insert the trap in the soil with the help of the wooden stick included in the packing, after threading it through the two holes. It is advised to install the traps within late March until November, since the the first adults emerge from the cocoon in early April until late October even though flights become particularly important from July to September. Keep a distance of 2 metres with each other trap. Replace the trap if full of insects or after 30 days of use.
