Fortifierstrengthens the plant defences - Against chewing insects
lithothamnion is a natural calcareous flour of sea origin. When used on the plants through foliar application it stimulates their development, strengthening their natural self-defence mechanisms. When sprinkled on leaves and fruits it forms a thin coating of sharp particles which troubles the chewing insects through an abrasive action against their chewing apparatus, hindering the oviposition as well. Thanks to its basic pH, the coating also inhibits the development of fungal diseases. Applied on the soil it improves its structure and adjusts the pH if too acid. It can be used in horticulture and gardening at any stage of the production cycle. It leaves no residues. For edible crops, it is advisable to allow at least 48 hours after treatment before eating the crop.
one spoon contains about 10 g.
Foliar treatments: dissolve 40 g in 1 litre water and sprinkle the plants with this solution, both the upper and lower blade of the leaves. The sprinkled product forms a thin coating on leaves and fruits. Soil treatments: scatter 30 g/m2.
