this substratum is obtained from an accurate blend of peat, lapillus and sand, and delivers the best conditions required by cactuses: a very porous substratum which however doesn't dry up completely between one watering and the other. It represents the ideal habitat for all sorts of Opuntia, Mammillaria and for some sorts of succulent Euphorbia.
use the substratum at the time of repottings, which are usually necessary when a standstill of the plant growth is noticed. Anyway young plants need a more frequent use than adult plants, which can be repotted even every two-three years.
