it is a product based on nettle extract (Urtica dioica), a herbaceous perennial plant belonging to the family of Urticaceae, widespread throughout the world. The nettle, from the Latin 'urere' meaning 'to burn', has been known for centuries for its stinging properties, since it's rich in histamine, acetylcholine and formic acid. Thanks precisely to the presence of these stinging substances, applied to the plants, it helps them to protect themselves from sucking insects, particularly aphids, thrips and whiteflies. It performs also a phytostimulant action in case of weakened or stressed plants due to adverse climatic conditions. Nettle is also very rich in iron and recommended to treat iron-induced chlorosis, i.e. leaf yellowings caused by iron deficiency in the soil. It can be used both on ornamental plants and on vegetables and garden plants at any time in the production cycle.
shake well before use and spray the plant from a distance of 40-50 cm, wetting the entire surface evenly, including the bottom blade of the leaves. Preventive action: treat every 10-15 days, from the beginning of bloom until before the fruit picking. Curative and protective action: treat when the infestations appear and, if necessary, repeat every 7-10 days after the first treatment. For edible crops, it is advisable to allow at least 48 hours after treatment before eating the crop.
